OMG!!! another dog!! lol. i tried to make it look as close to the dog it was modeled after irl. sorry for the fail at fur, it defeats me lol.
she kinda looks a little like a wolf........

---TRUE STORY------

So at my work for the past two/three weeks we had a husky we were treating named Runner. When she first arrived she was very scared and shy of humans. As time went on though she began to be more assertive and loving. Everytime she saw me come into work her tail would start wagging like crazy and she would whine. When I let her out she would jump up on me and lick at me.
I have never really gotten attached to an animal before at work, I know how to keep myself a little detatched. But Runner stole my heart.
I quickly learned of the home she came from. Runner lived with eleven other dogs. All of the dogs are Iditorad dogs. They all were outdoor dogs living on concrete all year round. The only shelter they had was a tarp. Their water consisted of it simply being poured over their food, not nearly enough water for them especially during the summer.
In the winter they are left to urinate on the concrete, thus freezing it to their feet causing their pads to be torn off. Currently we have her "sister" Zena who is at my work for this problem. The owner's excuse for their living conditions? Its their "siberian spirit".
Runner had started getting better and was to be sent home on Tuesday. Last night one of our workers went in to check on the animals, and Runner was dead. It broke my heart when I found out so I had to make this in memory of her. Because I'm probably going to be the only person who will mourn her loss.

So yeah... thats her story. I hope your enjoying yourself in heaven and running free and peaceful for the first time in your life Runner!!! I'll miss your doggie kisses!!!
