While watching the English dub of Paru Itagaki highly acclaim manga turn anime series Beastars, I notice that the voice of Haru sounded familiar. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but the way Haru spoke with her delicate childlike but mature tone reminded me of Kari Kamiya from the anime series Digimon. So with one quick trip to Wikipedia I learn that the English voice of Haru is none other than Lara Jill Miller, a prolific and well renowned American voice actress who provided the voice to many animated characters like Lisa Loud from The Loud House and Widget from Wow! Wow! Wubby! I knew her best from Digimon as the voice of Kari, so just for fun I decided to make a funny art showing Haru as Kari ordering Legoshi around like her own personal Digimon.
