I have no idea most of the time what I'll be writing to fill in image descriptions. But the thought just came to me as to how Virdirian the forest boy could speak English so comfortably. Perhaps it's not even English that the characters are using... because clearly Pokemon appear to have the organs to communicate with humans with the same complexity.
Or maybe school education exists even deep in the wilderness.
