actually I think the size differential is a bit much. If it were a Guardsman reporting, sure, but Initiates have already undergone much of their surgery, he should at least be up to the marine's chest, but sure, artistic licence. It's certainly dramatic.

Hmm....yes, but a scout wears sightly-above-guardsmen-grade carapace armor and boots, while a full marine gets several tns worth of power armor. A couple of tons of boots can make you pretty damn tall...

sure, but most of that weight of armour isn't on the soles of his feet or the top of his head! I agree that most of the difference in height is armour, rather than physiological differences, which is why it shouldn't be NEARLY so extreme.

Dude DoW2 Ret,,, Angelos gets hammered and we see his legs (out of armor)... not entirely sure whether that was close to actual lore; BUT by that comparison, this deviation shows the perfect physical proportions by far!
