Description
A war machine is a cybernetic combat mecha of intermediate size used by the forces of the imperiums imperial pretoria as heavy infantry support for their companies. Even the superpowered aztekians are still killable and can fall in battle despite facts to the contrary amongst the common aliens of the Imperium . When the greatest of the aztekian knights are crippled in combat what ever is left of there bodies will be repaired and transferred into an armoured cybernetic coffin outfitted withthe most advanced life support systems. This coffin is then interred within the heart of the armoured body of a war machine. The aztekain knight within the coffin will control the robotic body of the walker and experience the outside world through cybernetic neural links and sensors implanted within its life support systems. war machines are often mistaken by observers to be huge suits of battle armour or robots; they are similar to both. war machines are a combination of armoured mechas and cybernetic life-support system; (cyborgs?)their pilots are neurally linked straight into the war engines cybernetic systems, and are able to use the walker as if it were their own body, although they are permanently entombed within its dragonite skin until they are destroyed in combat. ..... There are two standard variants of war engine currently in service with the preatoria.
