Tried my hand t a drawstring pouch for my shop. It actually turned out pretty darn well. Something useful for the next time I play some table top games. I want to try a few other variants on this as well. It's fun to make things other than armor. Part of me wants to make a studded barbarian version...Related content

Thanks for the info. It might be ''just'' a pouch, but it still looks really nice and also a little worn. Like it. ^^

Thank you. I'm glad you do. The worn look was unintentional as it was a day old at the time of the photo, but I was happy for it.

Did you model it after one of the Viking age Haithabu leather pouch fragments? When reconstructed, they turn out exactly like this one.

I didn't base this on any one particular example, but I did look at some historically documented pouches when making this, and I think the Haithabu fragments may have been among them. I try to base my technique on historical ones, if not the final design.
