The Addams Family. A classic 60s sitcom. John Astin played Gomez, Caroline Jones was Morticia. Ted Cassidy was their butler, Lurch. Morticia, a sexy Goth before Goth even existed, had a meat-eating plant. (I think it was also a strangler vine. Thus the joke about Poison Ivy.) Every time she spoke French it drove her husband, Gomez, wild with passion. [link]

Yeah I remember the bunch...they even made a movie adaptation too..I remember the daughter played by Christina Ricci she became a teenage sensation back then
