Aeona Dragonblood, aka the Jester of Wrath~

Just comparing the first doodle I did of JoW with the latest one, mainly to show the development of the character itself.

Now this is a very special and dear character that I love very, very much. In the upcoming project of mine - Souls of Arcaiia; Awakening - there are a lot of extra characters that I call my "Tribute OCs" as they are directly based on some of my closest loved ones, as a way of permanently making them a part of my world. This, as you might've guessed, is one of those tribute characters.

18 years ago, on the 2nd of February 1998, a little boy was born, and I had a little brother whom I'd love and protect no matter what. And now, 18 years later, that little boy has bloomed into a gorgeous young woman, and I couldn't be more prouder to be able to finally say that I have another younger sister! And I'll love and protecter until the day I die, because she's so precious to me, and one of my absolute closest loved ones. She came out as trans to the family just before Xmas last year, and now she has officially come out to everyone else as well, so I figured I'd take this chance to upload the art I did of her tribute OC.

The first drawing I did was in september, so I still (mistakenly) thought she was a boy, and thus I drew her tribute OC as a boy too. But after she came out, I decided to draw an updated version - which she was given as a part of her Xmas gift - and I'm really pleased with the result. I literally drew it the day before Xmas, and it was a bit of a hurried drawing, but I still think it turned out somewhat decent. The most important part is that she - my sister - really loved the drawing. As long as I can bring a smile to her face, then I'm satisfied.

Since this char is a part of my latest project, you can expect to see more art of her in the future~
