Here is a drawing for the art class I'm taking right now. I'm actually very happy with the way it turned out!
The orange cat on the left hand corner is my new character Frecklefawn. I really like her 
I might have to post a profile of her sometime later on! 
Anyways, this is the forest she and her clanmates live in, DawnClan, and at the moment it is autumn, so most of them are stuck in their dens!Enjoy!

But yah. that's cool that you're doing it for an art class...ha, when I was younger I used to draw warriors for art but everyone thought I was a freak for being obsessed with a book series so I stopped. But yayyyy, good for you!
