took me 2 hourse to complete!!!!
okay..... so this was actually an English project for school, but I couldnt resist posting it!!!! This is a scene from the short story i read called The Veldt by Ray Bradbury. It was so intense and actually quite frightening when you think about it!!!
SPOILERS!!!! : this is the scene when Mr. and Mrs.Hadley when to go get their children from the fascinating nursery. Suddenly behind them, the door shuts and locks. When Mr.Hadley tries the knob, its locked and when he yells for it to open up, the voice of his young son calls ont let them shut off the nursery and the house!!: then suddenly they hear the growling and rumbling of the lions. When they turn around, the lions are edging closer to them and crouching as if ready to attack. The husband and wife face eachother and then turn back to the lions screaming..... they then knew why the screams they heard before in their beds were familiar..... it was themselves being killed by the lions, caused by their children. YES!!! the nine year old boy Peter is responsible for the death of his parents!!!! I guess the children were way too captivated by the wonders of the African Veldt, that they didnt want it to get shut down. And were so obsessed with the imaginary world, that it actually turned real, and killed their own parents because of it!
