Can someone help me? I've recorded the entire reclist for my voicebank, but some syllables aren't pronounced when I use the bank (I was using a UST.). Any help for solving this would be very much appreciated!

Hi, my voicebank plays all the sounds with no problem, but γ and γ never play. In place of where it's supposed to be sung, the sound cuts out. Anyone know why?Β

Hey do you know what to do for otoing in cases of sounds like ai, ei, kai etc. where there is a change in the vowel sound?

Oto ai, ei, etc. the same way as you would oto for example ki or se. At least that's how I've done it, because I've recorded ai, ei, etc. as if I were recording ma, wa, etc. You know, like: a short, i long, not both long. It works for me and it doesn't sound weird if you do it right.
I don't remember much about kai though, I suppose I've put k as the consonant and the whole ai as the vowel. That should probably do the job.

Um, how to i check if my utau voicebank already has an oto? (I have teto but for some reason both teto, AND uta won't make sound when i input a note! i already have tips, and i made sure i didn't make any stupid mistakes with downloading it, but my utau STILL won't sing and nobody's telling me how to check if my utau has an oto! I need a bit of help. I've done everything you say, however the notes for some reason overlap each other. I can't figure out what i did wrong but, it makes using ust's hard because i have to edit every note. Is their something I did wrong?

There are many ways to OTO, but the main thing is: does your utau sound good to YOU? If so, there's no need to change the way you're doing things lol

Do you think it's the overlap wrong that's the problem or the consonant line?

With harder consonants such as K or T, I tend to set the overlap to -20. Β Then consonants like D or B have -10. Consonants like M or N have preutt at 60 and overlap at 25, so keep them short and smooth. Β Then CH has a special rule: 0 overlap.
As for vowels, I tend to record VCV strings of vowels for my CV banks. Β OTO like VCV with preutt at 300, overlap at 100, and consonant at 400. Β Normal CV vowels have 50 preutt and 100 overlap, no consonant. Β Either way is AMAZINGLY smooth.
