Keeping the harsh city of Salvvaton safe may be an impossible task for most, but not for Depth Charge. His superior skills in tracking and knowledge of the criminal psyche made him a valuable member for the Autobot Peacekeeping Department, and even led to the capture of the Rogue Super Soldier, Protoform X.
Eventually Depth Charge and his team were assigned by their commanding officer, Sureshot, to aid in the transport of Protoform X to a lifeless Planet. However, the transport ship was attacked by the Decepticon Elite. Depth Charge, along side Signal Flare, attempted to stop their assault and prevent them from capturing the Stasis Pod containing the Beast, but, unfortunately, the ship crashed on a mysterious planet called Gaea. Now stranded, not only with his team, but with a group of Elite Decepticon Warriors and an immortal Beast Warrior, Depth Charge must fight, not only to deliver justice, but also to survive...
