This was just an experiment, I took a macro shot of a flower anddid some stuff in Photoshop to make it look like it was sorta painted.
I think it came out alright. Photo taken with my ol' Sony.

the colors and framing are wonderful....very nice close up. which lens did u use?
oh it was Sony ok. there'a bit noise, a result of sharpening/saturation adding? anyway it ca nbe fixed and teh photo and overall design look great and 'spring' good idea to use green for font.

The colors and the shape of the flower look so natural. You didnt play a lot with contrast and color strongerer... I love that on this one very nice
Maybe make the inner boarder and font black

what kind of flower is that. it looks alot like one of the flowers in a picture i took and i can't figure out what kind it is. almost lily(ish).

Stunning Macro. Well cropped to removed the background, that really helps to focus on the petals etc. on their own. I see what people have said that it looks like an apple - strange, as it does Brilliant colours, sharp focus and good cropping make this a lush capture. Great work!

I think this is really beautiful. It made me start craving an apple though. I guess it was the colors that had me making the association the flower with and apple.

It doesn't look painted at all to me. Just looks like a grainy photo. The flower is beautifull and I really like the framing. It's a good macro shot. The white parts of the flower are a bit too yellow IMHO.
BTW I like youre framing and font. Where'd you get the font?

I really like the colours of this. Did you push up the saturation of it, making the colours more intense? And the filter you have used succesfully captures the feeling of this flower. I like the effect where the red go over in white on the sides. I'm not sure you need to do anything else with this, lest you overdo it...
