I remember when I first saw the Syncronicity video. I had NO idea who Ruko was. I was just like, oh, that guy there looks pretty cool. I watch it again a little while later, a bit more educated. "OMG! It's the IT!"
Still one of the coolest designs. I still think Ruko looks a little more male in the video. Then again, the combo is about 90% male anyway, ... right? Bah. Matters not. I love the way this image flows with the cloth, hair, and even the weapon. It gives this picture real depth and life. It's just great.

Same here- I discovered Ruko through Synchronicity. I exaggerated the femininity mostly because I can't imagine a guy wearing string underwear.

Ruko's classed as an UTAU, so consistent information is pretty scanty. As far as I know, her voicebank blends male and female tones- her official gender is debatable. She's a fanmade "prank" character who was created before the official design of Luka was released. The Synchronicity PV artist made her a follower of Luka to reflect this.

Mizki is officially female, despite not having a design. And, she's getting a design, much like VY2/Yuma when they are re-released with the Vocaloid 3 Engine. She is also real, unlike Ruko, who is an UTAU.
