We all come to the well,

As a child,
we look for and receive sustenance and loving care,

As adolescents
we seek acceptance by others and to find an understanding of ourselves

As adults,
we look for wealth and the desire to build a physical manifestation of who we think we are.

In old age,
we look for health and life and a sense of our future.

We all come to the well perhaps for different reasons, but come we must, for the the well is our source of being. The well is also our connection to each other and is perhaps our best path to understanding and respecting each other at all of our stages.
