Just a tutorial I made while doing my lion Jaheem. I noticed theres not a lot of TLK tutorials so I decided to make one.Download to see the larger format, it may not load for some people on DA

Thanks for the tips. Although I have to point out that I almost think he's too bright, so I brought him into photoshop and played around with the brightness and contrast.
Technically he's perfect, but on the white background he is hard to see. That was probably my problem on your draft!

No problem. And ya I did kind of notice that. I think I'm going to update him here in a few minutes to have some kind of color background because he is a bit hard to see.
I may end up editing his colors a bit to make them a tad darker, just so he's easier to see.

his shading is just fine so all you really have to do is select all of his color layers and shift the brightness a bit. Should look fine that way.
I'm trying your method on the picture of Shadow I did yesterday.
