This time I did my own coloring chores, and I am really proud of how it turned out.This is a commission piece I did for a friend, back when I had time to do such things. As I recall, during that time I got an endlesss fusilade of requests for Rogue,and Kitty.
This poor guy asked for Rogue, Kitty, and Jean, and made the mistake of saying I could do what I wanted with them.
I had to pause my VCR a kajillion times to reference the "Evolution" version of the sentinel, but as I had already just bought a DVD player, it was worth the sacrifice.

How the hell have I missed this lovely piece of work? *Facepalm* I may have only watched a few episodes of X-Men Evo, but I always admired the sexy look/attires that Kitty, Rogue, and Jean would wear.
Seems that even as mutants...there are plenty of ways/techniques to negate their abilities

This is probably my favorite X-men Evo piece of all time. Absolutely love everything about it.
If you're willing to let me, and still have the original line work, I'd love to take a crack at doing my own colors, just for practice. I seriously doubt it would turn out as good as your version, but it would be hella fun to toy with.

It's high-tech double-talk anti-mutant power tape that allows me to draw X-Women looking all adorable and helpless without having to explain why Kitty doesn't phase free, or why Rogue doesn't simply cash in on one of the dozens of powers she's absorbed over the years and break loose.
Doing DiD commissions for super heroines is not without its pitfalls.

Can't believe I forgot to comment on this amazing piece. Coloring on the setiniel is simply grand and the detail. Lighting on it is really well done. Panty shot is superb

Aside from the amazing linework and coloring what really grabs me about this piece is how non-chalantly the Sentinel is holding poor Jean. It's almost as if she's an afterthought now that he's got his sights set on Rogue and Kitty. That pained expression in her eyes is very well done and adds a nice touch of drama to this image.

Thank you. I enjoyed drawing the sentinel holding Jean. I definately wanted to do something other that the standard King Kong grabs Faye Raye hand position used by most who combine giant robots and damsel in distress. It's always good when that extra effort gets noticed by a viewer.
