All basic, the only tool used is the pencil tool from macromedia freehand. This took at least 2 months (which could have been a week). I didn’t have time at home so I did it at work. I will never do this kind of vectoring again.. It tested my patience from a left mouse button that has its own life and brain, and it’s very time consuming, and made my boss angry.The background is not in vector, but from the original pic. And I think it will cost me another month or two to do the background. I don’t want to be fired.. so I think its finished. Hehehe!

U2 *is* my favorite band.. EVER!!! EVER! I love this piece.. it reminds me of one of their videos-- b&w, simple and yet powerful.. great work dude!

U2 is one of, if not my most, favourite bands in the entire world and here you've combined them with my favourite style/genre of digital art, vector graphics. This is an instant favourite based on these two facts alone. Further than that I'm floored at the fact that you even took the time to make such an incredible image. The detail and likeness are both astounding. I'm so very impressed with this image I'm literally searching for words to compliment you on it.
This is one of the best vector images I've seen in quite a long time and you should really be proud of this peice. Your skill and attention to detail is something to be admired.

Great detail on the jacket but it sometimes seems like it's foiled up or something. I like the presentation though, very professional.
