It's a bit dodgy, this process. You never know what you're going to end up with.This was an idea that I'd been kicking around in my head for a little while - the three most recent versions of the Doctor, fresh off of his regeneration cycle. Ten and Eleven are wearing their predecessor's outfits as seen in The Christmas Invasion and The Eleventh Hour respectively. Nine's is largely conjecture on my part, based on the Eighth Doctor's movie costume and a few ideas I've seen other folks suggest for his clothes in the Time War. I intentionally didn't put him in any sort of Time Lord uniform since he's never really been much of a team player. (Especially considering what little we know about how things ended between the Doctor and the Council.) I'm going with the theory that it was the Doctor triggering the mysterious 'Moment' that sealed the Time War and caused his regeneration.

Heh. I made my best guess with the info I had at the time. That said, what he IS wearing here isn't all that different from John Hurt's outfit. Maybe I'll do an updated version someday with all the modern Doctors.

Heh. Looking back at this, considering that we now know -exactly- what he was wearing when he regenerated into Nine, I'd say this wasn't a half-bad prediction. It's pretty darn close to a jacket-less version of the War Doctor costume.

It's known the Ninth Doctor was wearing Victorian-style clothes shortly after his regeneration, similar to the Eighth's movie attire, so you got it spot on.

Neither is a barely visible Patrick Troughton spinning in a black void the same as a proper regeneration scene, but you live with what you get.

Great picture! Somehow Ten manages to have that comical "kid playing dress up in his dad's clothes" effect while Eight and Eleven strike me as desperately depressing. Maybe it's because Nine into Ten was a comparatively "good" regeneration?

Oh, that makes complete sense and I agree 100%. The shift in tone watching End of Time and Eleventh Hour back to back really threw me for a loop! Regenerations, why are you so haaaard?

Aww, I love this. I love how whenever he regenerates, he looks like he's wearing hand-me-downs. Nothing quite fits right. Time for a makeover, and all that. Nine is so precious here I want to hug him. I love any conjecture about Eight's regeneration into Nine, so this is beautiful.
