This is awesome !!! But why would the Cobra Commander fight the red skull ? dont they have the same motive and the same end goals in mind - world domination !!

Both want to rule the world, neither will accept being in second place.
Red Skull planned to back stab Cobra Commander after he had succeeded in conquering the world. Cobra Commander moved earlier than expected, meaning there is still a chance for the Joes to defeat him.

That's the idea? What Happened ? Maybe they were working together and Skull was killed and Commander took over? Maybe the Commander double crossed the Red Skull? Creates possibilities. I think even though they would accomplish the same goals . They both would seek total power and control.

Cobra commander with the Cosmic Cube in hands just screams the world is doomed as he recreates the world in his own image with GI-Joe unable to stop him...
Yeah the world will be saying Hail Cobra alright....

If this is TV series Cobra, he will use it for some superweapon that will have critical weaknesses, and the Joes will exploit that.
The technology will then never be used again. (The Weather Dominator could have been used to bring rain to dry areas, break up hurricanes, prevent floods, avoid excess heat/cooling, etc).

True and knowing his luck it will be either Destro or the Baroness who learns of his use for it... like the Siren's Shell that turned the men of both Cobra and GI-Joe into mindless slaves...
