Super Nintendo featuring Mario 10x20This is part of series that I was inspired to paint this past year. These are the systems that I grew up on and have been collecting over the years. Super Mario World was the defining Mario game for me when I was a kid. While I played a lot of 1 through 3 on the NES, it was Super Mario World’s visuals, charm, and secrets that could be found that defined for me what a Super Mario game could be.
