I was telling a true story. Only difference: it was about someone in her fifties and not about a young girl.

Maar ja, you cannot win them all...

Groet
Rob

A very touching story, and wonderfully put into pictures!
Maybe the first two pictures are a bit too similar - at least that's the impression I get - but that's just nitpicking. Love the middle picture in particular, the swinging skirt...

Sorry I almost did! It's a true story, but it was an elderly lady who loved to travel a lot!!!!
It happened about 100 meters from where I live.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with me, but all I can think is "no more worries...you are home".
I think it's because I am a sneeze or a trip away from not walking anymore. Back injury is torture.

You've got back injury? That really is too bad!!
Can't they help you?

Both surgeons said there's a 50/50 chance it would get worse.
If it gets any worse, i'm in a chair.
No worries though! I'm a tough guy!

Glad to hear you're a tough guy, you might need that.
My daughter is handicaped and got a wheelchair, but she
doesn't need it any more. Last few years I used it for my mom.
I hope it won't get worse.

Breaks my heart about your daughter but glad she doesn't need it any more.
My mom was in a chair in her last year.

Was she in a wheelchair after an operation?
My daughter was in a wheel chair until she was about20 years old, although she could walk (like someone who's drunk), from the age of 8. Docters still don't know what went wrong in her brains, but they are happy that she's getting better! Lots of kids were teasing her because of her handicap, and because of this she developed borderline. For her this is a bigger problem than her handicap.
She cannot have a job, but she is quite happy now (tomorrow, o no it's today 31rd, is her 24th birthday).
Last week she left the apartment in the protecting home for disabled kids. And now she's having a wonderful apartment with her boyfriend!! Finally on her own!!! We're very proud of her, in what she reached in her life!

no operation...it matastisized from her lung to her spine and then to the brain. She fought well.
I am very happy to hear about your daughter doing well.
Cheers!!
