Description
Heaving down my anchor,Waiting for a storm to cease.
Screaming waves, they'll calm,
But the past still rings in my ears,
Those foolish taints of the lovers' truths.
But that was then, and now I'm strong–
Standing high as the waves smash down.
No, I won't fall. I won't go down with this ship.
So here, here I hold for the seas to calm.
Pierces of light, they guide me from the dangers
Whilst the fog horns sing my help.
Ocean currents might toss and turn me,
But now I'm secure with things stronger than string.
