So minimal, but so cool - a little like your 'Silent shudder' motif, but more positively spiritual. I love that smeared out look, and agree that it looks more like paint, perhaps applied sparingly with the dragging motion of a pad...

exactly! And really this is just a long shutter shot and me behind a hanging sheet! Weird how experimenting works things out like this!

So that's how it was done! The camera seems sometimes to catch permanently what the eye may register only briefly before muscles and brain circuitry apply 'corrections'. One of photography's great strengths as an art form

kk, and I love this one. Remember the books 'Scary Stories to Tell in the dark??' Well... this reminds me of the illustrations from it. Speshully if it was BW!! Yummy.
