Description
First off I wanted to credit for letting me use their image as a reference here. Thank you.So this is something I'm pretty excited about. It's been a bit of a dream of mine to make a computer case from scratch and thought this might be a fun thing to add to my catalog of merchandise to sell and take commissions for. I'm getting ready to submit an application for BronyCon at the moment so I thought Rainbow Dash was a great subject to start this off with.
The PC is much bigger than an mATX motherboard, I wanted to make it very small so it could be ideal for LAN parties or eSports events, small living spaces, and just be easy to carry and transport (felt like that would be especially important if I were to sell them at an event like a convention. It is made using laser cut wood and acrylic. The wood it coated with a heat-resistant spray paint to avoid any sort of hazard there.
As for the specs of the hardware:
CPU, Intel Core i3 7300 (4.0Ghz)
Motherboard, MSI b150I Gaming Pro AC LGA 1151 USB 3.1 Mini ITX Motherboard
RAM, Patriot Viper DDR4 2400
GPU, ASUS NVIDIA GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 (Passive Cooler)
PSU, Raidmax Flex-ATX 300W
SSDS, Patriot Scorch 120GB NVME M.2 and a PNY elite 240GB 2.5in SSD
Fans + Coolers, Silenx Quiet 60mm fan, Raidmax low-profile 60mm fan, and a Thermaltake Engine 27 CPU cooler
It does also feature full RGB lighting.
My only critique would be the PSU's fan make just a little bit of noise when under load, but it's nowhere near a annoying. All things considered it is a competent little PC. Boots in about 20 seconds, does all daily tasks very quickly, Wifi and bluetooth is very fast, plays many games at 1080p, low to mid settings at 40-60 FPS, nearly all eSports games at 1080p, high settings at 60 FPS. I even got Final Fantasy XV working with 30 FPS, mid settings and 720p.
On top of that I have found temperatures on everything almost never go above 60C, even under full load, which means wear and tear on the hardware will be pretty minimal over time.
If that's not enough though in terms of horsepower the CPU could very easily be changed for an i5 or i7 and the GPU could be changed for a GTX 1050ti and you would easily have quite the little console killer.
This is currently a prototype, I do plan on eventually making the whole thing from acrylic and perhaps either powder coated steel, or anodized aluminum, and doing a hardware setup that would allow me to sell a PC like this, ready to go, for roughly $400-$600. I could easily make a fully decked out one for like $1,200 if someone is interested in that.
As always, if you're interested in a commission, or just have questions let me know. Feedback is always appreciated. Hope you enjoy.
Also for your enjoyment I have several other shots of it below:

Holy crap. That looks good. Would you ever consider making something the size of a conmos2? (That’s the case I have atm).

Thanks, at some point I do desire to make a whole line of cases so yeah, a tower like that is something I'll definitely consider in the future. I mainly don't have the equipment personally to make something that size currently, so I was thinking of soon doing a crowdfunding campaign of sorts so I can take my designs to a shop where they can do some small batch runs of them.

well let me know, I might be interested in a comish, although I’d prob want something made out of metal, not wood.
