One man and woman decide to work together to fix the bird.

it seems to have a couple rusted and broken gears in it and one uncracked eye

They remove the broken gears and try to replace them.

I looked at the bird before letting it fly around, it flew right outside the room "if you wanna know the reason why I wanted my pet fixed up, I'll tell you"

"Well, my bird was made to act like a spy droid and I just needed it to figure out if these aliens ARE friendly or not"

The bird finds a terminal that counts down the time until the destination should be reached.

It scans the terminal, looking for every little detail about the planet

It has oxygen and unknown metals on the planet as well as food that is usable for harvesting though its effects on humans can be beneficial curing aliments, improving body function to body altering such as swapping gender, growing wings, tails and in rare cases acquiring supernatural powers. Though not all foods are good as some cause debilitating health problems, insanity, and death.

After the bird gets all the data it needs, it fly's back towards the room me and the other humans are in

The information is displayed which alarms some people.

I look around at everyone in the room "well... We all know what to do, yeah?"

I slowly stand up "I'll go find you guys some weapons" I said smiling as I went to the door and looked out of it for some aliens

There are heavily armed aliens guarding the pilot.

I walk out of the room towards the guards "hey aliens, how many of you are there?"

"okay" I said slowly before heading back to the room, but before I entered it I looked back to see if they're looking before heading down a random hallway looking for a weaponry

They are watching and lower there weapons the closer you get back to the transport room.

When I see them not looking, I quickly ran down a hallway looking for a locker room or something
