Description My brother suggested we play DnD, and I suggested we do a pirate edition because I like pirates. I'm not too familiar with technical details about DnD lore and specifics so I might just have all the designs wrong for this elf.

Well hey, now we can make "you are a pirate!" jokes. I can already make "I am Groot" jokes with my character. Also from what I understand, DnD is pretty lenient when it comes to characters and settings. You can follow the guides or do whatever you want. That's the impression I get.

The rules and technical details about it are really confusing lol my brother and I have always made shit up instead of actually following even a bit of the actual guidelines and rules since it really looks scarily complex when piecing everything together. Of course, I've never had any real experience of it so I don't know SHIT. Character creation and story-making is fun nonetheless however.

But yes, I fucking love pirates and the concept of pirates and a pirate setting.

I have fiddled around with stuff like character sheets and it's actually not that bad. The best thing to to do is think of it like a stat screen in an RPG. I've also made stuff up. My first character was a dragon elf (kind of like of the dragonborn from skyrim but with some dragon features) and Tusk Willfort is an original concept based on Chaos55t's ent persona and tree-based beings in general.

Pardon me while I casually play He's a Pirate in the background.
