I really love this fantastic piece of artwork. The placement of the model and background give it a serene feel, yet the model herself and colors are sort of depressing. The model's pose and expression and the rose suggest that she was waiting for her loved one but they never came, causing her to fall into the depths of despair. All in all, very beautiful piece.
