Quick question (a rather paradoxical one), if you were to look through the ring, into a mirror and look back through the ring, what would you see? In my mind there are 3 options for this; either you see your human self as this effect doubles up, you view your alternate form ignoring the second view, or you see nothing.
Another more interesting one imo would be if multiple passes through the ring meant transitioning into alternative versions thus meaning you see the second form before reaching the first, but also meaning you cannot directly view yourself without aid of something else like a camera.

Yeah I was thinking that myself, but I think its really wacky to essentially see the alternate version of you holding the ring through the mirror. Like if it was a big dragon and you were in a small bathroom I wonder how that would look. Especially if the size was so different you wouldn’t fit in that space.

Should clarify that I was thinking about this for like a solid hour after I posted when I came to my own decision on the matter (which you agree with) but also another paradoxical situation dependent on the ability to transition to a different size/shape.
