.:4/8/13 - Yep, like it or not, this IS Slash's new design! If you wanna draw him in the old style, go ahead, but don't b**** at me for using this one. Thank you!:..:switched to the scrapbook since this is apparently a bad design change and everyone likes the older design better:.

Okay, so Crystal probably won't get a design change, but I've decided to give her boyfriend, Slash, a few changes since I won't be using sprites for the comic. For starters, his family's Beam Saber has been changed to a regular (skinnier) saber and he now wears a long-sleeve instead of a tank-top. Other than that, he's pretty much the same as he was before.

In all honesty, he looks like a Pirate-Jedi to me XD. Looks really cool, original concept as well.

Luna's right, Slash's shirt looks like he's ready for cold weather. As for the beam sword, it looks like a Proto Jedi Light Saber. I think because we've seen these characters for so long in regular cloths or looks, those designs have been implanted in our brains, or something like that. It's kinda like when those guys (I forget who) made that American Godzilla movie and completely redesigned him.

Not necessarily. I mean, Slash could ware that when the weather gets cold. Because unless he likes it cold, that shirt is not going to keep him warm.

This longsleeve wasn't meant to keep him warm. It's light material, to be honest.
As for the Beam Saber's change, I made it smaller and skinnier so it would have been easier for me to draw in the comic.

I have to agree as well. It's not bad,as a matter of fact it looks good on him. Just doesn't seem like an everyday thing he would wear you know...(p.s. sorry if replied instead of comment Luna, but my opinion was the same as yours.

It is, but its not bad, its just That it seems more like an outfit he would wear if it were cold outside instead of wearing it all the time.
