OH!!! I know this verse! It's one of my favorites!!! 
I remember one time at a Sunday school the "teacher" asked the girls what their favorite Bible verse was and why it was their favorite. They all would reply in a phoned in voice that it was John 3:16 or something very similar and / or well known. Then she got to me and I said with confidence "A righteous man regards the life of his animal." She just gave me this stoned look and pulled her head back as if really caught off guard by such a verse. (It wasn't like I was being really over the top with my confidence, it was mostly at the fact I picked that verse I think.) She then asked me why and I replied with a simple "well... I like animals".
She moved on quickly though still seemed rather perplexed by it.
This was also the same person who gave me a big lecture for "having an attitude" once. The reason I had said "attitude" was I wanted to have a Bible study, to which the church had been promising would be "next Sunday" for weeks however they kept putting Bible Study off last second without notice in favor of fun social events. She "detected an attitude" to put it simply.

Defiantly. I always love the verses that talk about the animals and how God loves them and cares for them. Most people tend to kinda get confused around them though or feel they aren't as valid unless they can make it about themselves.
I've always loved Bible study! Or at least learning about Spiritual things in general, especially when pertaining to God. I remember that church I got frustrated because they kept putting off the study last minute despite saying each Sunday "it will be next Sunday". So finally I started getting agitated and mentioned it to the youth paster, then they had the study. Granted right before I went to the paster that lady "teacher" pulled me aside to correct me on the tone of voice I gave her. I was just really blown away by her scolding as I'm like "Dude... I'm upset because I want to honer God and you are getting on to me for THAT?!"

I can't wait to make more inspirational pieces about animals. I'm just waiting for the perfect photo/ have to create the art for it. I also found some pretty interesting verses with animals in it while studying the bible. One of my favorites was Balaam and the talking donkey!

Oh yes! I cant wait to see those! Also the talking donkey was very epic. XD Also... kinda proves that animals are kinda capable of having complex thoughts which most people don't seem to acknowledge due to drastic language and nature difference.
