"This doodle bag is an upcylced messenger style purse that has been completely covered with one-of-a-kind, hand drawn illustrations. I simply took some Sharpies and got to work. The theme of this bag is serial killers. Depicted on the purse are portraits of some of the most infamous and evil serial killers in history as we know it. I referenced actual police mug shots for most of the drawings to capture these killers exactly how we remember them. You'll find Ian Brady and Myra Hindley; the couple responsible for the "Moors Murders" of Manchester, Charles Manson and three members of "The Family" responsible for the Tate/LaBianca murders, John Wayne Gacy, David "Son of Sam" Berkowitz, Ted Bundy, Aileen Wuornos, Richard "Night Stalker" Ramirez, Jeffery Dahmer, and Ed Gein. I've even included excerpts from taunting letters written to the police by David Berkowitz and two other famous serial killers that were never caught--"The Zodiac Killer" and "Jack the Ripper." The illustrations on this purse were all drawn with black and red Sharpies, then I sprinkled the bag with a bit of red acrylic ink for a blood splatter effect. This is a very frightening purse that would be perfect for the lover of forensics or the extreme dark side of the human psyche.

This white canvas shoulder bag is about 11" wide and has brown faux leather trim. This bag has a long messenger style cross-body strap and a top flap that snaps shut in the front. There is a pocket on the front, sides, back and interior of the purse. I used to make themed bags like these for my friends as gifts and they always would get tons of compliments whenever they would wear them out. The illustrations are quite durable and will last as long as the bag does if you use common sense. I would stick to hand washing or spot washing if it gets dirty, for instance, just to stay on the safe side. This purse comes signed by me on the inside, along with the name of my Etsy store if anyone asks you where you got it…and you know they will."
