This listing is for a werewolf nose with dark brown fur, named after the brunette werewolf Kalix in Martin Millar’s Werewolf Girl series. This is quite possibly the most realistic werewolf nose you will ever find for sale online. I have made my own werewolf costumes in the past and I have always gotten loads of compliments on the smallest of details (like the nose.) Being a major fan of the lycanthrope I could never settle for those cheesy badly painted prosthetics in costume shops, so I decided to alter them and make them my own. This latex nose has been hand-painted to mimic the subtle color nuances in human flesh. No flat black and brown paint job here. This paint is extremely durable and sealed with several layers of gloss varnish to capture the wet look of a real canine nose. I cut out some nostrils for added comfort and hand-laid faux fur to the snout for some realistic texture that you just won’t get from a store-bought product. Check out the close up photos—the fur really looks like it is growing out of the skin. In the right nostril, just for an extra fun touch, I’ve added a removable silver nose ring with a red captive bead. This nose is easy to apply with your average costume shop spirit gum and should last you a long time. Add a little liquid latex and/or Halloween makeup to blend the feathered edges of the appliance to your skin tone and you’ve truly transformed yourself into your favorite monster. * It is so convincing that people might not even know that it’s a prosthetic.

*May also be suitable for fauns, satyrs, minotaurs, bigfeet, goblins, trolls, dark fae, and any other sort of ‘were’ or anthropomorphic animal.
