Okay this is a real throwback for me, as I have recently gotten back into Lady Death comics and rediscovered my long-lost childhood of admiring this beautiful, sexy comic book vixen. What's more is that this piece is specifically based on her "Alive" series of comics where she was made human and mortal again and had to do her Lady Death business "in the flesh"

Make no mistake: this is the Lady Death of my childhood from nearly 20 years ago, and seeing her represented by my own hand as an adult aspiring comic artist is quite a feeling. I honestly feel I have passed a threshold after making this, since I have never made a better composition of background, subject and posture before. Drawing Lady Death seems to have really "liberated" me and boy does it feel good.

But alas, I really do miss seeing Lady Death in this form, as it really "fleshed out" (pun slightly intended) her story and character. Anyway, that's why I made this as a token of the great memories from so long ago

And also, if you're seeing this Brian Pulido, I just wanna say thanks for creating this lovely character who captivated my adolescent days and putting her through all kinds of crazy adventures (the crossover with Purgatori was another one I fondly remember).
