Other: Our biggest memory of Ryder has been forever burned into our mind as the colt that was working with Paige Stud’s best filly, Flip the Bird, when she suffered her fatal accident. Other than that he is tall, dark and handsome like his sire, the great sprinter Midnight Lute. Ryder likes nothing more than to lay down and watch the hustle and bustle of the barn, sometimes drifting off into a light snooze, sometimes it’s like he’s in another world. Loves his food and his job, pulled hard during his morning workouts and was very competitive, went undefeated his three year old season and was voted Eclipse Champion Sprinter that same year.
Build: A very well built fellow, stout in the limbs and a nice head and big barrel. Medium sized hooves, was a force to be reckoned with at any distance less than a mile and won on multiple surfaces in various conditions.
