Turning around, she could see the flaming skull of the Ghost Rider, who could only give her a nod of reassurance, showing that he too, was unsettled.)

(Rocket, not saying a word, handed over Thor an artificial eye, the Asgardian giving him a grateful nod)

“So when they needed us… we could fight the battles…”

(Back on Earth, in the fused nation of Valkanda, a young woman with pale blue skin had just finished placing one final seal on their newly acquired ally, reassuring the two soldiers behind her that the monster would now follow them into the oncoming battle.)

(As Hsien-Ko and Bruce Banner explained the procedure behind the operation to Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine could only keep her hateful, distrusting glare on the disfigured face of the Nemesis, which did not respond to her, only following Hsien-Ko. Reprogrammed or not, she would not hesitate to destroy the beast that caused her so much harm in the past)

(But right now… desperate times called for desperate measures.)

(Mike Haggar was in his office of New Metro City doing paperwork when he heard a loud noise echo outside of the building before he quickly leapt out of his chair, running to the doors to inspect it. As he threw the doors open, he was shocked to see something large float in the sky.)

“In time… you will know what it's like to lose…”

(Inside the Daily Bugle, Peter Parker was inspecting his camera when he felt a familiar sensation warning him of imminent danger and he quickly turned to look outside the window and his eyes widened in shock, drawing the attention of the others inside the building… especially a large, blonde haired man who had an severe dislike for the young man.)

“To feel so desperately that your right… yet to fail, all the same…”

(A large ship, shaped like a giant ‘Q’ loomed over the city with what appeared to be malicious intent, causing panic among the people down belong, all running for shelter.)

“Dread it…”

(Tony Stark, along with Bruce, Strange, his assistant Wong, a robot with blue armor, X a man with a mechanical arm, Nathan Spencer and Ryu were in the streets of New Metro, looking on in shock at the destruction brought up the city with the armored Avenger taking his shades off slowly)

“Run from it…”

(On the destroyed remains of a starship, stepping over the bodies of his fallen Asgardians, Loki Laufeyson unwilling handed over the glowing cube, the Tesseract to his former master regret clear on his face, under the watchful eye of Jedah Dohma.)

“Destiny still arrives.”

(A dark ripple in time appeared before a large figure stepped out, wearing armor of blue and god, his figure much taller than any human being and his appearance was certainly alien. His purple skin shone from the sun and his eyes promised surveyed the area with an unimpressed look.)

(On on his left hand, clenched into a fist, was a golden gauntlet… with two gowing gems in two of six slots.)

(Thanos had arrived.)

(High above skies of New Metro, Peter Parker, now in new, armored version of his Spider-Man suit, stood up slowly, his eye lenses lighting up, his suit finally activated to its full potential. Beside him, Venom landed beside him with a growl, the two putting their rivalry aside as they faced a much greater threat. Also clinging onto the ship with her claws, was a blue haired woman with strips of white hair on her body like fur and her pupils slitted like a cat, mewed fearfully, but also bravely looking up.)

“Evacuate the city…”

(In a large metal facility in space, Thor groaned before he forcefully pulled down a lever, opening a large opening, showing the power of the star outside, the hot rays hitting his back, causing him to scream in agony. His pun suddenly subsided when a protective barrier shielded him, coming from the white furred wolf beside him.)

“Engage all defenses…”

(Proxima Midnight growled with fury as she raised her spear to strike Chun-Li from behind, throwing it with fantastic speed and strength… when it was suddenly caught in had from a man hidden in the shadows.)

“And get this man a Shield.” King T’Challa, the Black Panther ordered to Monster Hunter, who nodded at the command.

(Stepping out of the shadows, his suit changed and with the addition of a beard, Steven Rogers, better known as Captain America, nodded, reporting for duty, much to the relief of Scarlet Witch, who stood protectively over Vision, his Mind stone still intact.)

(We soon various shots of the heroes in action, facing various foes…)

(In the outskirts of Valkanda, Bruce, now piloting the Hulkbuster armor landed on the ground with a thud, standing beside Ryu who was surprised by the giant suit of armor.)

(Natasha Romanoff, or Black Widow, snarled as she stabbed an unseen foe with their own weapon, Trish assisting her from behind.)

(Dr. Strange had his hands held together before they created two orange shields, Sir Arthur standing beside him, preparing for battle as a ship crashed in the distance.)

(We soon open up on a battlefield where we see Cap, Black Panther along with Chris, Jill, Frank West, Haggar, C-Viper, Hsien-Ko and Nemesis battle large alien creatures that were apart of Thanos’ army.)

(On the planet Titan, Thanos roared with fury as he held Spider-Man and Venom by their throats, slamming them into the ground, Tony watching on in shock)

“Fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe…”

(Vision screamed in pain as Corvus Glaive stabbed his spear on to the Mind Stone on his forehead and felt it being forcefully pulled out before we see Thanos insert the Space Stone into his gauntlet before inspecting it)

“But this… Hahaha…”

(Iron Man watched on in horror as Thanos approached him, clenching the Infinity Gauntlet into a fist, showing the stones in hand with a sinister grin on his face.)

“Does put a smile on my face.”

(The Mad Titan punched Iron Man into the ground before doing the same to X and Zero, who had tried to catch him from behind.)

(Back on the battlefield of Valkanda, Bucky Barnes, formerly known as the Winter Soldier, now the White Wolf stood beside the other Valkandan warriors before loading his gun in preparation for battle.)

(In another section, Dante smirked as he stood beside Deadpool, who cocked his own guns for the battle before they nodded at one another.)

“Oh now this is a game worth playing now!” Wade suddenly exclaimed with a menacing gleam in his eyes towards the various aliens.

(T’Challa nodded to Monster Hunter who returned it before they revealed their weapons, the former’s claws and the latter’s sword.)

(Falcon yelled with fury as he shot down his foes from the air alongside Strider Hiryu who leapt from his back before slicing his opponents.)

(Both factions charged toward one another, ready to fight for their causes.)

(We see the heroes of both worlds charge toward the enemy.)

(No longer were they fighting to protect their home, the people or themselves… they were fighting to protect the universe…)

(The War for the Infinity Stones had begun.)
