Yay, new laptop! Time to update this a bit now that I have those capabilities.
Alright, Kamaria's genderbend. As some of you may know, my laptop is currently broken, so I'm posting this with my phone. Now, a much more complete story will follow, since I don't feel like typing it all out on my phone, but I just wanted to get something down now, while the monthly challenge is still valid. I'll also probably upload a better picture once I get my laptop back. For now, though, I'll explain.
Oh, and I forgot to leave his tail white. Whoops.

This is Kade, eldest child of Hugo and Shazi. His name means sturdy. Kade grew up with different values than had he been born a mare. He was raised to be a protector of his family. He was raised to be stronger, both physically and emotionally. He was instilled with the knowledge that it was his duty to protect his mother and younger siblings. So, when Kade got out of school, he took this job so seriously that he joined the guard, where he was taught magic and how to properly defend himself. When his father fell ill, the family did not drown in debt, thanks to Kade and his well paying job. The family survived Hugo's death, staying in the city and staying together. Kade took good care of his mother, brother and sisters. Eventually, he met a nice middle class girl ( he never much liked those who had grown up in the high society) and started his own family. Kade now lives a comfortable life as a soldier, raising his daughter with his mate and making sure that all his loved ones stay safe.

In a lot of ways, Kade is Kamaria's opposite. In others, they are the same. The two handled the stress of their father's death very differently, sort of fulfilling certain aspect of gender roles. While I don't believe in gender roles myself, I really do think that this is what Kamaria's life would have bee had she been born a boy.
