Description
Kiara gets updates on competitions going on throughout the world on a weekly basis from one of the trainers at Willow Ridge Ranch. Normally they're all beginner and intermediate classes that she takes some of the more problematic horses to when she can, but on the latest one she saw that there was an endurance event going on at BCS: the Maple-Eagle Trail. She glanced over at Simba, who was grazing next to Lavender Love's pen. Money was in another nearby pen. Lovie and Money had been sent up to her for training last week, Money because he was anti-social and tried to kill his official trainer, Tony, whenever he got too close, and Lovie because nobody could get a sense for what the mare might be good for. Kiara thoughtfully whistled, and Simba lifted her head and trotted over to the young woman.
"How would you like to go to Kentucky and do some endurance, girl?" she asked quietly, scratching Simba behind the ears. "We'd need another horse, but i'm not sure who to bring."
Simba tossed her head and jogged over to Lovie's pen, then began prancing excitedly. Kiara grinned. "Nice thinking Simba. We'll take Lovie along to try her out. It'll help desensitize her to wild animals too."
And so it was settled. Kiara entered the competition and prepared her horses for the journey. She would be driving them the whole way. She left well ahead of time, stopping frequently to give the horses a break from traveling and to ride them a bit for exercise.
When they finally reached BCS, with its rolling hills and wonderful facilities, Kiara was so excited she was bouncing in her seat. She unloaded the two horses after parking the truck and tacked up Lovie. She would start out riding the Elven Warhorse mare, and Simba would start out as her pack horse.

Alright, I've actually had this done for a while, but I kept forgetting about it. And I also like to upload things in bulk. But it's up now, so whatever.
Yes! Lovie is getting some love! This is part of my pledge to draw my characters more. I'm going to find something to do with Rum Cocos next, since I feel really bad about not drawing him. I've wanted an obertaurer for so long, and then when I finally get one, I neglect him. But enough of that. I've taken the first step, and I'm so happy that I get a chance to draw Lovie, Simba and Kiara more.
