Description
I was talking with and all of a sudden this idea came up. She's really good to talk to for ideas, as I've noticed from looking through galleries of her friends. Anyhow, really simple, really crappy looking, but it's worth it if it make one person laugh.Again, all the logos and copyrighted stuff isn't mine and are edited only to make jokes. No printing, no selling, no profit.
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot to mention this...
ONE NEW EPISODE OF CHOWDER OR FLAPJACK DOES NOT MEAN ONE 15 MIN. HALF OF ONE FULL EPISODE! IT MEANS ONE FULL HALF HOUR EPISODE!
2 YEARS LATER: Regular Show and Adventure Time... all is forgiven.

I' taken the time to read all your comments and completely agree.
Now CN is starting to get better by showing some new anime in the morning like beyblade (old fan) and apparently their bringing back Thundercats. I was heart broken when Toonomi was cancelled (Damn Lawsuits which was part of the reason for its demise cuase they were from parents who let their kid watch Naruto and buried himself in sand trying to be Garra or so they say). Though Toonomi is still alive on the internet as ToonomiAftermath.com. In all truth you may be dead on about CNs influence.
BTW fan of you, Endling, and Bleedman on snafu(becuase he's influenced by old good cartoons check it out and see what I'm talking about).
I miss all the shows that you guys stated earlier.

Thank you ^^
I'm pretty happy with some of Cartoon Network's latest decisions, Adventure Time obviously a big favorite of mine. I was so sad when Flapjack got cancelled, but the same spirit of the show is carried in this cartoon, so it's cool, not to mention it's by the same creator as far as I understand. Gumball is pretty fun, though it could use some tighter story writting, but it's no replacment for Chowder... sigh.
...you know what would redeem CN, FOREVER? ...A real, no wincing, adult movie of Regular Show on Adult Swim, and call it "Regular Movie" it would be epic.

This image speaks to the human condition on a level that I don't think I can accept. So sad when a network for music no longer plays music, and the best place for toons is overrun by live action. It almost makes me glad that I'm an adult. Almost. Thank heaven for TV shows on DVD.

i hate tv now. everything is terrible or starts off good then turns to shit. it's not even the glory day sort of thing, i liked new shows like chowder, but why would i want to watch a show about kids riding roller coasters?
π: 0 β©: 1
Will-Da-Beard In reply to Hobbittastic [2010-05-11 18:46:11 +0000 UTC]
Besides, you can watch anything you want online now. They really should work out a way to combine TV with Internet, I know they have stuff like that now, but they're expensive and not very accessible to everyone.
And yeah, why would anyone want to watch any reality show on CN? In fact, out of all the channels on TV, CN is suppose to be the FURTHEST from reality!

Wow, thank you! ^^ I'm very flattered.
I'm glad this comic has been so well recived. Apparently I'm not the only one with these feelings towards present day CN.
Remember CN back in the nineties? When experimentation was encouraged and extreamly weird cartoons where allowed to thrive? Pilot cartoon shows like the What A Cartoon Show. Hell, even Seth Macfarlane did a pilot cartoon for that show! They had some real big names in there and really unique ideas.
Oh well, things work in waves. I predict that Channel Frederator is going to step up to replace their network. CN better be careful, cuz the way it's going, that's very possible. Hell, I hear Frederator is funding a Samurai Jack movie! They're already starting to replace them! XD

Will-Da-Beard In reply to herio [2009-12-28 21:50:38 +0000 UTC]
At least MTV blessed us with The Maxx animated series and Lupo the Butcher.
So, yes, it's pulling a full fledged MTV, it use to represent everything cool about art and animation, not afraid to experiment and try new things. But the people who fought for those ideals left (something about that aqua teen movie) and they handed it off to producers who think reality shows are the same thing as cartoon. Sensing a pattern here?
Don't worry though, Channel Frederator is right around the corner with a Samurai Jack movie in production, so there are still people out there who understand cartoons are an art form, not some flash animated cookie-sheet Canadian cartoon where all the animation could be replaced with photos of puppies and no one would notice.

lmao, that was so wrong...
I'm glad you like this to the point of marital status!
CN is close to becoming a lost one, gone the way of late MTV and present day Nickelodeon. Time to invest our time into Channel Frederator. At least that's on the internet, and it's free, no commercials either.

I most certainly agree with this. The good old days were better than the shitty channels that CN, Nick and Disney Channel are turning into now.
So, lemme put it bluntly and how Ursula said it in one of her new songs from the Broadway version of The Little Mermaid: "I want the good times back."
