Good stuff! Though I might add, that the animation is missing the punch - the flow of the fire ( ? ) is not realy firey. With some refinement it could be one of the finest 1bit pixel explosions.

I'll try to find some time to look into it. Its actually my first explosion so I might wait till I've done a couple more and know what I'm doing...
What you saw as fire was meant to be smoke. Might need to work on that too, eh? haha
