Actually, the original inspiration for this was a trade paperback collection with the original Carmine Infantino Zatana serial from DC comics. The story was only mildly interesting, but I remembered as a teen being struck by the caparatively raw sensuality of this female character as opposed to most of the rest of the dull fare offered.
