Description
The medium used was scratchboard. Annoying, dusty, and tedious process that results in crisp white lines through a thin black coating. The original is somewhat over a foot wide and near to 18 inches high (I think?). Made spring 2007.I have gotten it scanned and am working on getting prints made. Hopefully this will happen in the coming spring.
since I will be offering this for sale, I have stuck a rather horrible watermark on and only uploaded a small file- sorry.

I'd have liked to see more detail, but it's obvious that you're pretty talented and this is excellent work. I've never attempted a scratchboard piece, but this makes me want to.

that looks like it must have taken you ages to do... I remember doing something like that in art where we colored a piece of paper and then painted it black and scratched out a picture after the paint was dry...
let me just say ours was nowhere near as detailed as urs
