So many of us question the reason for living. Why do we even exist, if we all die anyway? The few people I've come to express this to have distanced themselves from my presence, or existence, if you will.
It's simple to ask one a question as a greeting: "how are you?" and everyone simple replies, "Good." and then asks the question to the same person who asked in the first place, as a kind gesture.
Kind gestures are unfortunately not in my forte'. I typically ask others what is on my mind; no matter how morbid it is, and no matter what the person will think of me afterward.
Why do we exist?
No one has the answer. I even asked others if they ever wondered. All the simply reply is, "Um..no?" and then try to edge themselves into your personal life, asking if you are okay, are there issues, are you seeing a therapist, ect. I realize how kind they are trying to be; they insist on helping. What if I don't need help? What if I asked the question out of curiosity, not out of morbidity?
Neither a male or female has the answer- so who does? God?
What if those who think of the question believe in no God? Or simply that God does have the not answer? Who does? What is the answer?
Many people choose suicide because they cannot find a purpose. Will I be destined the same way? What is my purpose- what is your purpose? To become a businessman, a mother? No. A human's purpose is much deeper than that of a physical purpose in the world of our society.
