Just a random idea i had while messing with Maya, this guy is not connected to anything and will most probably never be brought up again.
A messager for Lady Luck herself: the roulette mage!
By tossing a steel ball into the roulette on top of his staff, the Roulette Mage can discover the outcome of a person's actions, allowing him to essencially predict people's futures; however, if his predicitons are not followed step by step, the outcome will be completely different in the end.
He acts as a guide of sorts, telling people what they need to do to achieve the most desirable possible results while also requesting that they perform actions that he believes will please Lady Luck, such actions tend to be completely absurd and don't usually seem to serve any purpose, such as eating a cup of dirt with grass growing from it or shooting an arrow towards a rat.
the Roulette Mage never really questions how or why such actions would please Lady Luck and openly admits that they're all wild guesses, but more often than not it ends up working, so he must be doing something right.
His overall personality can be defined as stubborn, pushy and overall unpleasant guy, but he becomes strangely docile and mild mannered when speaking to Lady Luck, most likely out of nervousness.
