Description
You look at the journal entry. You had never heard of Hoofs, but it was clear that this character was being oppressed on this platform - yet another crime against equality on the internet, this time on a preposterous scale. It was time to take yet another stand for the oppressed as one of the keyboard warriors.
You put your typing gloves on and joined the text choir that all demanded the same thing.

It did seem a little bit out of touch.
Remember back when Eclipse launched, some were asking if dA staff were actually using dA themselves.

Well, I gotta say, with the way Eclipse has been going wrong, especially the contrast issues, I'm pretty sure no one who's making it is using DA. Whenever you let someone who's not an end user do software without guiding them to make what you need (given that they listen to you and actually do it), you get something that doesn't work for you. The same has been with the course enrolment system my university has; we have a well-functioning system that's been made locally by the staff and the students, tailored to our needs, and while it has its flaws, it's definitely one of the best systems of that kind in the country at least on university-level. Now, however, we're replacing it with an expensive multi-university garbage that's developed by people who don't study in the university (at least anymore; the word around the university is that the top of the company making the system used to study business economics here... >_>') and so far it has sucked.
At least this whole mess is teaching me how not to make anything that's meant to be used by someone else.

It's rough, but considering Eclipse as it was originally launched would have made the site unusable for a fairly large portion of its population (ARPG groups and such), and as it is now undoes decades of practically useful work for many users (freeform HTML), it was unfortunately not pulled entirely out of thin air.
But yeah, some people tend to assume malice before mistakes.
