Description This is my influence map. As you can see, I am inspired by quiet a few things, all of them very different from one another, but somehow all appealing to me. I suppose I'll tell you what each one is. FROM THE TOP!...left, that is.

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet because I watched these movies religiously as a child and they have impacted my life in a large way.
The watercolor just to the left is by my art teacher, Alecia, whom I love with all my heart. She has made me a better artist and a better person.
The album cover just to the left of that is Mika's 'Life in Cartoon Motion' because any time I'm sad or angry, I listen to it and it instantly makes me feel happy and alive!
Just next to that is Kio, simply because I love Kio and Yun Kayoga and her artwork. She's in the meme twice!
The next row starts with Audrey Hepburn. I love her simply because she is what I aspire to be: A beautiful, classy, and talented woman, who is happy and successful.
Next to her is 'The Hobbit', my favorite book of all time and the basis for almost every other book I've read. Tolkien's works have inspired me to open my mind and be creative. He created an entire world all on his own, and I think that is remarkable.
The picture next to that, the tall sepia one, is by a fellow Deviant I really look up to. Malory Dyer, or Pu-Sama, is not only an amazing artist, but also has a happy personality and a sense of humor. Though much of her work is dark, it is all beautiful. She has taught me that it's okay, and actually cool, to be unconventional.
Next to that is the cover to the second volume of Daisuke Igarashi's 'The Children of the Sea' because the artwork in this manga is so beautiful. When I saw these books in a bookstore, I didn't pick it up because of the title or because somebody recommended it to me. In fact, I had never even heard of the author or the series before. No. The reason I picked up these books was because of the artwork inside. If artwork can draw someone in as his work did, it has been successful. I want my artwork to grab people by the imagination like Daisuke Igarashi's does.
The next line starts with an illustration from Ken Follett's 'The Pillars of the Earth' because both the book and the television series were mesmerizing and beautiful. I also found myself taking alot of time to look at the illustrations of the Cathedral throughout the book. They were so detailed and intricate, I couldn't help but look!
Next to that is my favorite movie, Studio Ghibli's 'Howl's Moving Castle'. The book by Dianna Wayne Jones made me so happy, and Studio Ghibli is an amazing team of artists and animators that creates beautiful work, down to every last person walking in the background and every flower on the ground. All of their films are remarkable, but 'Howl's Moving Castle' is my favorite!
Next to that is the large painting of the girl, also by Daisuke Igarashi, further proving how beautiful his artwork is. I love this painting and have tried numerous times to replicate the style because I love it so much.
Next to that is Ponyo! again, a Studio Ghibli, but I found this film so beautiful. All of the critters under the water, the house on the cliff, and even the off-beat characters had a happy but mysterious air to them. I loved how well the studio really gave all of the characters a strong personality. It was beautiful.
The next line starts with Vincent van Gogh. I really look up to him for a few reasons: the first being his artwork. The style of his paintings is so smooth and chaotic, it really gives a peek into the mind of the artist. The second reason I look up to him is because he suffered from anxiety and depression, just like I do. Knowing that van Gogh was going through what I do makes me hopeful that I can get over my fears and depression and live out my life happily, even though van Gogh couldn’t
Next to him is Grace Kelly. Like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly was a beautiful and very classy woman who I aspire to be like. She was happy and successful and did what she loved.
Skip over Daisuke Igarashi's painting and you get to Ritsuka, another character from Yun Kayoga. She's one of my favorite artists because of the detail she applies to all of her work, while still keeping it simple. I also love the little cat ears and tails she gives to all of her child characters. All of her artwork is so whimsical and fantastical, you can't help but love it.
The last line starts with an Alchemy circle from Fullmetal Alchemist, the first 'real' anime I ever watched. Not to mention I love the little haphazard, almost doodley illustrations in the manga. Not that Hiromu Arikawa didn't take her time, but her style is just so funny and scratchy, it really gives the book a personality that no other manga could ever replicate.
The next picture is another van Gogh. It also shows how much sailing and the water influences me. My father was in the Merchant Marines, so I've been sailing and boating my entire life, and it really has made an impact on me and my artwork.
The next picture is Alan Lee's illustration of Frodo Baggins from the Lord of the Rings. As mentioned before, I love the Lord of the Rings and Tolkien, but Alan Lee, who illustrated the books, also inspires me. He does such a marvelous job of describing with pictures what Tolkien described with words. He really is a talented artist.
The final space is blank. I've left this space open because sometimes the most inspiring thing is a blank space you get to fill with anything you'd like. When I look at a blank space, or an empty wall, or a white sheet of paper, I think of what I could put there. I think of all of the beautiful things I could paint or draw or make there. That's why I felt it blank.

So that's my influence meme. The credit for the blank meme belongs to fox-orian and can be found here>>> [link]

Fill it out! It was fun!

Wow, this is a very original and beautiful collection of artists and persons! I took the time to read through your comment, and I feel I can understand you!
The things I'd give some more attention to, are first "Howl's Moving Castle". I adore the movie, and somehow it makes me feel creative, and there's something there I can't describe. It's so cool that we have so much in common - besides HMC I've never known there were books, so thanks lots for telling me that! I got to find them! The second thing is the blank space. I'm totally agree with you! Sometimes all you need is a blank sheet of paper

Thank you for reading through all of that! I almost didn't tell what all the pictures were because the description was so long, but I felt it was necessary so people didn't just look at the meme and think I was a scatterbrain who is inspired by nonsense! I really appreciate that

Thanks I had a hard time filling the space with just one more thing, because there were so many things I could put in that space! But after sorting through images, I said, 'If I leave this blank, I can put whatever I want in there depending on what's inspiring me that day, and how much creativity can be found in a blank space
