I sooo love everything about this shot!! (needs a bigger scan*hint-hint*) I love the sign first off thats a really nice touch, but the COLORS!! the red of the sand floing up to the slate blue/reddy color of the rock formation with the intense blue of the sky!! this is just amazing work!!

I really like the colors in this one. From the reddish brown tones of the earth to the blue sky & white wispy clouds above, they appeal to the eye. Not only that but the textures in this photo are interesting for you have the pitted ground & the whispy clouds. The other objects that capture and hold the viewer's attention are the mountains in the background and the tossed sign in the foreground. A good composition showing nature and man's impact on nature. One last thing on the clouds, perhaps it was intentional or just a lucky coincidence, but one of the clouds in the far left appears to look like a cresent moon. This gives the photo a "twilight" feel to it which adds a symbolic dimension to the discarded sign. The photo is an excellent piece and should be at a higher resoloution and size for one to enjoy it more.

I like your gallery, but I particularly like this picture. It is beautifully taken, great colors, composition... There's something very sad about this picture, though.

This captures a moment in time. It also gives a lot of atmosphere of the location, the Native Indians selling things everywhere they can, even there own images.

Wow, I'm not much of a photographer so I don't know the technical words for what I want to say, but I like how you got the feeling of the end of the season, with the lighting (even if it was coincidental, some of the best works of art are those that you don't create). I like the colors and the lighting - very well done!
