HISTORY

______________________________________________________________

In high school on his Senior year, he went on trip to Germany. It was one of those classes where they offered a program to take the kids exploring across the globe. Of course, this required the parents consent. Knowing Nathan’s parents, they adored him like the first born child despite having twins. They favored Nathan without even realizing it as if the was the oldest child to spoil. Cymber followed Nathan into the world eight minutes late. But that didn’t bother the family much, nor did it bother Nathan at all. In fact, Nathan treated his twin sister like she was the anchor to his arc. He valued her presence more than their parents did. Maybe Nathan didn’t realize that at first, or he knew how his parents treated her the entire time, but he didn’t quite acknowledge it verbally to his parents. Perhaps Nathan knew that if they voiced their opinions about favoritism, their parents would throw a fit or worse, become abusive in some way, shape, or form. Now that he thinks about it, Nathan almost wishes that he addressed their favoritism to their parents before shit hit the fan. Would anything come of it if they listened to their favorite son? Regardless, it was no problem for the parents to allow such a thing for Nathan. So off he went to Germany and Cymber was happy for him like the good little sister she is. Or at least that’s what Nathan thought.

During the time of his trip to Germany, Nathan learned a lot. One of those things he learned happened to be his discovery in homesickness. But it wasn’t quite his home that he missed. It was his twin sister. They have always been inseparable from day one. This trip was a lesson to him in more ways than one. Nathan adored his sister’s presence to the point that it felt wrong to socialize and explore on his own without her. On top of this, he learned the language. German was far different than English than he expected. Another thing he didn’t quite expect is the last night of the trip. Whenever he got the chance, Nathan would message his sister via text or email if he got any service that he didn’t have to pay for. She would often get updates about his trip. Nathan would never tell his parents about it, mainly because he was closer to his sister than their parents. So if they ever wanted to know about his trip in Germany, they had to ask Cymber about it. While Cymber was experiencing a “trip” with their parents, and not a good one, Nathan had a night that would change his life. Forever.

Normally each night the class would go to the hotel rooms that the teacher generously rented out. Nathan happened to be the last kid to follow the class while the skies were caked in darkness. And in Germany, it was darker than it is in America considering the lack of gloriously lit buildings and lights. The class didn’t seem to worry or bother with the fact that Nathan didn’t join them around the same time as the rest of the students. It was around curfew that the teacher got concerned. All the teacher found outside was the kids backpack that was left on the doorstep of the hotel. It was almost as if Nathan had gotten mugge. Of course, the teacher had to report this to the police. Luckily, Nathan was found in the nearby forest that laced just around the corner of the town. His shirt had been torn and his own blood stained its plaid pattern of orange and blue colors, now permanently bloodred. Nathan will never forget how relieved he was to see a teacher ever in his life. There was something about his teacher that Nathan will also never forget: his calmness. For the entirety of the night at the hospital, the German teacher remained calm. Most of the students had to stay in the hotel while some of Nathan’s friends stayed in the hospital room that night. Nathan had to explain to the police over and over again of his story in detail of what had happened. For some reason, before sharing the police the story, the teacher stressed to Nathan that it would be important to lie. Now, the police in Germany will forever think that a bear attacked him and not a wolf. That’s exactly how Nathan was told to share his story.

On the way home, Nathan had questions. His German teacher expected this. His friends were there the entire time to support him. They knew how crazy that night must have been for Nathan, let alone how crazy the teacher probably is. It just so happens that the teacher is a friend of a werewolf. And that’s how he knew what Nathan truly was. It was within the next few days that changed Nathan’s life forever. His senses such as smelling, hearing, and even his sight only excelled. Doubled. Trippled. It was only time before Nathan would take his first shift. Nathan’s wolf would take over to welcome itself into the hell of a world. The teacher invited Nathan to his home when they returned to America. It was surprising for the teacher that Nathan hasn’t shifted yet. He almost wondered if Nathan had more self control over the wolf but that was almost impossible for a bitten werewolf. By the time Nathan got home, he had to lie to his parents (and his sister - something he’s never done before), that he and his friends were going to celebrate for being home. Which was technically true, the teacher was nice enough to invite the friends over just to make sure Nathan would be in good condition for the new shift that has yet to come.

It wasn’t until 24 hours from his bite, the night that he arrived at the teachers home, that the change would take place. And something new occured, something terrifying, and painfully obvious - the fact that Nathan is now a beast. A beast that his friends had to help the teacher maintain in the basement of the man’s home. According to Nathan’s friends, all the man would tell them is that the change is suppose to take over the human body to explore its new life. It will be hungry and may attack and if they were careful, Nathan wouldn’t eat them alive. Nathan experienced the shift in the basement, hearing the conversation from the void. And try as he might, Nathan’s wolf attempted to shred the door to pieces. Note, the door was a metal door oddly enough. As if the teacher was prepared for this. But as Nathan’s friends repeated the next day, the teacher claimed that he’s a helper of Nathan’s kind. And that they could trust him. In fact, the teacher was Nathan’s only hope to succeeding in life as a werewolf. There’s no cure for him to return back to his human form, at least not to his knowledge. If there was, it would take them a lifetime to find the cure. Hell, if there was, it would have been discovered by now.

It wasn’t normal for the parents, however, for Nathan to still avoid coming home even after returning from his “friends” the following day. Nathan reported to his sister with an urgent text, that he will still not be coming home. The only thing he said that would seem alarming, is that his sister was the only person he confessed: something happened to him. Something happened and he wasn’t ready to face his family yet. He wanted to keep it under control as much as he could. He didn’t ignore his sister’s texts but he realized he left her to worry since he didn’t get back to her when he returned to America. Ever since his first shift, his friends and the German teacher have been a great support, both morally and physically. But the teacher constantly told Nathan that he couldn’t do this forever. He’s not physically a werewolf, and Nathan would eventually need to seek the help of an alpha. That only gave Nathan more questions to ask. This was too much for Nathan to go to school and adjust to.

Keep in mind, he hasn’t seen his parents yet since his return from Germany. But since the parents knew that Cymber was still talking to Nathan, they assumed that he was still going to school and all is well. However, the parents didn’t know that Nathan skipped school for the next few days entirely. This was to help him focus on his new life. His wolf. His beast. Whatever it was that he called it at the time, Nathan finally came to a decision that had taken over his brain, and was the only thing he could think about. The other 50% of his brain contained of his sister, who was texting him and reminding him that she still cared no matter what happened to him in Germany. Had it not been for his sister, he wouldn't have come home. The trip to Germany already proved to be difficult without her presence and he missed her as is. When it was time to regather himself and reunite with his family, Nathan was not expecting to hear his family’s voices from down the street.

As he walked home, he thought his family was just talking super loud now that he had werewolf hearing. But if he could hear the other houses around him, the households on the street weren’t as loud as his parents. What’s going on? Why were they so loud? Another voice earned 90% of his attention, and all Nathan started doing was running. Cymber’s voice mixed with his parents. They were yelling at her like no tomorrow. Even Nathan’s wolf didn’t like that and the only way he could tell is the fact that Nathan’s claws would surface just at his fingertips. With the lack of control and being an inexperienced wolf, much to his dismay, Nathan’s wolf had surfaced by the time he approached the house. That alone made Nathan worry. He was trusting his wolf to not tear his family apart. Fur had even started growing on his face as if he was shifting. But with so much convincing, Nathan begged his wolf to stay down by the time he slammed the door open. This of course startled the family, including his parents. All he could think about was his poor sister getting yelled at. Perhaps it was his new look that started his family.

He’s never seen his parents look at him with disgust before, though confused. It took a great amount of courage, despite his wolf’s ego, to tell his family that it was a costume and he was late because of a school project. And he didn’t bother taking it off his face. Somehow his parents bought it. This only shows just how much his parents favored him more than Cymber, much to his sisters utter annoyance, let alone proof of the current conversation they were having. (The irony). Nathan, with his wolf just at the surface, had to convince his dad that he hasn’t been home with his bathroom supplies, despite how much had had to control his voice change from the wolf being present. On the bright side, this was enough to push the current yelling off to the side and save his sister from their parent’s wrath. In an urgent manner, Nathan managed to nab his sister off to the side and grab her away from the house.

Since they were old enough to drive, he asked her to take them somewhere. Anywhere but home. He needed to blow off steam. She needed to blow off steam. And their parents seemingly deserved to be away from his twin sister right now. And as luck would have it, (not that he has any), Nathan managed to push down his wolf. The presence of his sister soothed him. It was a long needed drive, to nowhere in particular, but they decided to go shopping at walmart with whatever money Cymber had. This is when Nathan told Cymber about everything. From the attack in Germany, to his German teacher, to his first change, to needing an alpha. Everything.

When they got home from Walmart, after finally being calm, Nathan even offered to do the chores for Cymber and prove to their parents that they should be equal. Of course, they listened to him and even apologized to Cymber.

It was that night, that the twins stayed up late. It’s a weekend, so why not? She asked him questions about the wolf mainly. Cymber would play on her ukulele and Nathan would play on his guitar along with her. It was the most soothing thing to him ever since he discovered his joy of playing with his sister. This was their best form of conversation when they hung out. This is how they got the idea that they need to help Nathan find the alpha he needs. Cymber offered the idea to leave this hell hole, but with Nathan’s concern to survive, she reminded him of how their dad taught them these survival skills. Let alone, they could share their music and make themselves a band in Germany. They were teenagers, of course this was probably a stupid and risky idea, give them a break okay. At the time, Nathan practically beamed at his twin sister and praised the idea. They didn’t even care about graduating high school and continuing their education. What was it good for anyway? At least that’s what they thought.

Lo and behold, the twins managed to pack up when their parents weren’t at home and managed to find their path to Germany in a manner of a few months. Of course, during that time Nathan had to control his shifts as much as he could, but she and the German teacher would help him at the teacher’s house whenever it happened, or at least as much as they could control. This was only proof that they truly needed an alpha for Nathan. By the time they got to Germany, they were already making money on the streets by sharing and singing their music within the first few weeks. They were even offered gigs and managed to form a band of their own. If they got hungry, Nathan would hunt for them, even if it was just small animals. Cymber would cook from the fires they make in the forest. With what little stuff they had, and a huge amount of trust and survival skills, Nathan and Cymber have survived so far. Luckily for taking German classes, Nathan was able to translate most of the German while Cymber was still learning. It was another thing they learned about each other, something they bonded with along with their music and talents. Will they ever find an alpha who would help Nathan grow as not only a person but a werewolf?

Laughter bubbled from the man’s chest as Nathan swung his head back. He earned himself a very animalistic growl from Cymber herself. Which is probably not a good thing, considering how much time they spend together. His wolf could be rubbing off on her with the whole animal-like behavior. Which is also a little worrisome for him, but that didn’t stop him from laughing at the pretend growl she gave when he called her Symba. She hated it when she got called that simply because her name sounds like the disney name. “Would you rather I call you Mouse in front of everyone?” He simply teased her. Mouse had been the name he and his friends back in America had lovingly called her. It suited her. The laughter died down a little, and Nathan scratched a little at his beard. He went back to work while she responded to him, plucking at the strings and making sure they were in tune on his guitar.

Alright! You look pretty good to go!
however, I’d like to point out your Lycan height. Though you do technically fit into the regs when it comes to the heights, he is rather tall compared to his human height. I’d suggest maybe bringing it down by a few inches?
Other than that, unless my fellow admins have anything to correct me on, youre good! Welcome to the pack!

oh! well the reason I did that is because a lycan is taller than a human (obviously), but only because they kinda have like...an extra foot to their foot? If that makes sense? So when lycans are standing like normal, without getting on their tippy toes, they extend about an extra foot. or at least I've noticed in some art. but for the rules, i'd be happy to change it a few inches ^^
