In light of the shenanigans that keep going down in the West, the Vajda has ordered that all wolves be looked over by their Menders to assure their safety--from all plagues including those more magical in nature. Tenoch does his best to listen to these orders like a Good Boy, but he was not expecting to meet his petty nemesis in the process: Branka. She rolled her eyes at him on a hunt once and is just TOO SENSIBLE. He cannot cope with her superiority, but the Prime Mender makes a note that the only ailing thing here happens to be his ego.

Aka That time Tenoch brought his petty grudges to Branka's place of work and she was too cool for it.
