Description
The Morrigan was the Celtic Goddess of War, Life and Death, she could change her shape at will;Her most well recognized form was that of a black crow or raven who was her totem bird.She resided to the North, which was the realm of the dead, justice and the element of Earth.

Thank you so much for taking the the time to write such a thoughtful critique. I have changed the raven stock three times since I first created this piece as the position was never quite right. In the current stock photo the raven is standing on his owner's arm. I wanted to give the impression that the raven is standing on the roots which surround himself and the Morrigan, that the two are communing with each other.

awesome work. not sure if you've seen it but john boorman's movie "excalibur" is by far the best version of the arthurian tales IMO.

I have tried using photoshop and just have no patience for it lol so I envy you that skill. Thank you to for your comments and keep up your beautiful works I love them they are so how I picture things when I do pathworkings but just can't keep it in my head long enough to get down on paper and draw it so it is nice to see something so close to being in my head

Thank you for the lovely comment. I'm still a beginner with photoshop, it's taken me 5 years to get this far! Do you have a totem animal for your pathwork? I see lots of things in my mind but lack the skills to put them down in photoshop, which is one of the reasons it is taking me so long to complete my tarot deck.

I have a small lizard I thought was a gecko but it has a sharp pointing head not rounded and I love the way it skitters when it wants me to follow
